After an accident

The scan is clear. Something still is not.

Physical recovery gets appointments, milestones and a discharge date. What the event wrote into your nervous system gets none of that.

So you are declared fine, and you know you are not, and there is no obvious place to take that.

What is still there

The moment is stored with its charge attached.

The impact. The waiting. The particular helplessness of it. What you thought while it was happening, including the parts you have not said out loud to anyone.

That material is stored with the emotional charge it carried, and the stronger the charge, the stronger the imprint. It then produces effects that look unrelated to their cause: a tightness on a specific stretch of road, a reluctance you cannot justify, a competence that will not come back online.

You do not have to narrate it. The event can be a target without you describing it in detail, which is the thing people are usually most relieved to hear.

How the work is shaped

Specific situations, one at a time

  • The event itself, where it is still live
  • The first day back, or the prospect of it
  • A physical trigger: the road, the room, a smell
  • The conversation where you have to explain what happened
  • The version of yourself you were before, and what you have decided about no longer being it
Each one that stops producing activation is a measurable unit of progress, checkable inside the session.

Recovery that was not physical

One client's version

“I consulted Ola after a bad professional experience. I doubted my abilities and felt constantly under pressure. Now, I no longer have negative feelings towards my former employer. I regained my calm and my confidence, and my anxieties disappeared!”

Amine Chajia · IT Technician

“My difficult past with my father cast a shadow over most of my life. I was constantly confrontational, or defensive. From the first session, I found a sort of confidence I didn't know I had. Today, I'm more open in my relationships and I believe that life can be good to me.”

Manu Ressurreicao · Electrician
